Welcome to the Dear Money Doctor™ website (“DMD”). This statement covers the website www.DearMoneyDoctor.com and any associated content including email or RSS. Please read these terms of use (“TERMS”) carefully before using or contributing to DMD.

DMD is owned and operated by Meehan Wealth Advisors, LLC. (“MEEHAN”). MEEHAN reserves the right to revise or remove any part of the TERMS in its sole discretion at any time and without prior notice to you by updating this posting. You thus should visit this page periodically for changes. DMD is continually under development and changes in DMD may be made at any time. Any changes are effective upon posting to DMD. If you disagree with the TERMS, your sole remedy is to discontinue your use of DMD. Your continued use after a change has been posted constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

You are prohibited from violating, or attempting to violate, the security of DMD. Any such violations may result in criminal and/or civil penalties against you. Contributors retain their copyrights to all submitted works. All user submissions to DMD are governed under a Creative Commons Attribution-Noncommercial-No Derivative Works United States License. This means visitors are free to copy, distribute, display, and perform the submitted work with attribution, for non-commercial purposes only, and cannot make derivative works from the submitted work.

By submitting information to DMD, you grant MEEHAN a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, distribute, and otherwise exercise all copyright and publicity rights with respect to that information at its sole discretion, including storing it on its servers and incorporating it in other works in any media now known or later developed including without limitation published books in all formats. If you do not wish to grant these rights, it is suggested that you do not contribute information to DMD. MEEHAN reserves the right to select, edit and arrange submissions, and to remove information from DMD at any time at its sole discretion.

  1. Editing of Content

MEEHAN reserves the right to edit content. When we do edit contributor content, we do so with a light touch, mainly for purposes of copyediting and formatting, and very rarely for language. Contributors have the right to remove a financial advice posting if they do not agree with the changes, or can contact us at inquiry@DearMoneyDoctor.com to discuss.

  1. Financial Advice Contributions

In order to make your financial advice contribution interesting and informative, the following guidelines must be adhered to by all contributions:

  • Do not submit abusive, obscene, threatening, harassing, defamatory, libelous, offensive or sexually explicit material.
  • Do not intentionally make false or misleading statements.
  • Do not offer to sell or buy any product or service.
  • Do not post material that infringes copyright.
  • Do not post information that you know to be confidential or sensitive or otherwise in breach of the law.

This privacy policy statement covers the Dear Money Doctor portions of the www.meehan.com website (“DMD”). Please read this statement carefully before using proceeding to access DMD. Your use of DMD indicates your agreement to abide by the TERMS in effect.

Contributors to DMD must submit a valid email address in order to contribute financial advice and to receive regular emails for DMD. Your email address will not be shared or sold to any other organization.

Though we make every effort to preserve user privacy, DMD may need to disclose personal information when required by law wherein we have a good-faith belief that such action is necessary to comply with a current judicial proceeding, a court order or legal process served on our website.

DMD is a general audience website and does not seek to gather personal information from or about persons under the age of 18 without the consent of a parent or guardian.
