Learn how to cook

My story behind the advice is:

Cut back on eating out – it’s expensive.  It seems like the parking lots at restaurants in the mall are always filled.  Doesn’t anyone cook at home?  Our children asked where we would eat when we were first married.  Our answer was “we didn’t go out; we were saving for a house – really”.  Maybe we should have treated ourselves occasionally with a nice meal out, but we enjoyed cooking at home and taught our children how to cook.
