Start building your retirement nest egg with your first paycheck. Think like a squirrel that is preparing for the winter months by hiding nuts. CNBC reported that approximately one-third of workers have less than $1,000 in savings that could be applied toward their retirement and almost two-thirds of the workers have less than $25,000 saved for retirement.
