Unless you have a crystal ball, it is nearly impossible to call the top or bottom of the market.  If you invest in stocks for the long-term, there is a clear benefit to minimizing costs and capital gain taxes.  Let me make a prediction with my crystal ball…thirty years from now, the stock market will be higher.
